DRUM!

We went to a playgroup one day and they had a little drum that you could walk around and play. Caden has wanted one ever since that day. We have looked at stores and only found one that was so beat up and broken. When I told him we wouldn't buy it he threw the biggest temper tantrum that I have seen yet. We got through that! So today we were watching Caillou on TV. He made his own drum out of a pot. I didn't like the pot idea but we found something to work (see pic.) So he was marching around beating his drum, and singing a song. What a fun kid! What a fun day!

Toys

So today we got out the imaginext pirate ship. He played with that almost all day. Then we went to our friends house. He had out his Geo Trax airplane set. Caden wanted to play with it so bad, but it wasn't working yet. So when we got home I reminded him that he got one from Santa. Although it was late we pulled it out and put it together. He loves it! But he is now sleeping with Captain hook and the pirates in his hands.

skiing

Wow, what a day. Caden, Grandma Diane, and I went to snowbird today. Caden has so much fun on the magic carpet, but when you take him on the bigger runs he gets cranky. We had so much fun learning how to stop. I can't wait to take him up and teach he how to turn.

Christmas!

What a blast. He didn't even care what the present was, all he wanted to do was open the presents. When he opened one that he wasn't so happy about he would pick someone and tell them that it was theirs. He truly got spoiled! Here is just a couple pictures. A slide show will be coming soon!

Santa At Fire Station 61

Wow Santa made a special trip to South Jordan Fire Station 61. I can't believe that the fire truck got to go pick him up from the airport. wink wink! Well Caden was so excited when he say Santa on the fire truck coming in to the station. It was a special night for fire fighter family's to see Santa. So every kid sat on his lap and then went inside for a treat. When Santa came inside he had a present to hand out to all the children. You'll never guess what Caden asked for and got. Yep a fishing pole. Yippee! Did I ever mention that I hate fish? Well I guess we will do anything for our kids. All he can talk about is seeing Santa and getting his fishing pole. What a night!

Light the Night

We thought it would be so much fun to go to South Jordan for there light turning on event. What a blast Caden had. There was an ice skating show, Santa came on the fire truck, hot chocolate and a horse hay ride. But best of all our friend Colton and his mom and dad came. Well all went great and Caden got to ask Santa for the fishing pole he wanted. Along with having his first cup of hot chocolate.

Christmas Tree

Today was such a great day! We got invited to go to the Uinta Mountains and cut down a Christmas tree. Well, I decided that it would be a great idea, and Caden and I were in. When we parked the car the first thing Caden wanted to do was go for a ride in Todd's Rhino. We rode that out to a big clump of trees and there we found our first live Christmas Tree. I let caden do some of the cutting and then we went back to the truck for snack and to play. When it was time to load up Caden was so sad. I cant wait to go do it again.

We Love Fall!

We have been really busy the last week. We went to a Halloween Party, and Caden had so much fun. He decorated a sugar cookie with black frosting. That was a bad idea! Also this week we went on a small hike to take some pictures. They turned out really cute. Last but not least we carved pumpkins last night. Caden loves to stab the pumpkin with the knife. All in all it has been a great time!

Witches!

OK, I REALLY love October! Not only to you get to pick out a pumpkin, you get to go see the witches. Gardner Village is the best for spotting witches. If you have not been there you should go. We love to eat at the old mill, if you do try the pumpkin cake. Its worth the calories. After we go for a stroll and try to find all the witches. Caden has so much fun. Shh, you might even get to do a little shopping.

Pumkins

Well this is my favorite time of the year. I love the colors in the mountains, and I love Halloween. Caden and I stopped by the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our pumpkins. Caden would pick one and then change his mind and throw it on the ground. I am so lucky that none of them broke. He finally settled on one, don't tell him that it had a hole in it and was bad already. It ended up in the garbage. Maybe we will get him a new one today. Then he took me for a walk in the corn maze. He is so funny, he was trying to jump out and scare me. Well anyway hope you all enjoy the season!

Not only did we play with all the new toys he got, we went to the park, and to Boondocks. What a day! Caden is a great miniature golfer. He always wins because he stills every ones golf balls. He got to play some video games and well just be a kid. It turned out to be a great day!

3rd birthday party

Sunday we had Cadens birthday party. I was a little worried on the cake idea, because I decided it would be more fun to make a lot of cupcakes and put them together. Well it turns out it was a hit. We borrowed a bounce house from our neighbors and all the kids loved it. Caden got so many presents we will have to go through the old to make room for the new. Well anyway here are some pictures of the big day!

Clear Lake California

We went to Clear Lake for a family vacation with my parents. I had no idea that is was so close to Napa Valley, and so many great vineyards. I have decided that I need to go back and do it again, but a little different. I am really blessed with Caden, he was such a trooper. I toted him with me all day to many different vineyards and he never complained. It was also great to see him having so much fun.

Dinosaurs at Thanksgiving Point!

Caden Loves Dinosaurs! So when his playgroup friend Owen asked him to go to the Dinosaur Museum we just had to go. Talk about fun, there was so much to do and see that we will have to go back. At the end we made our way to the animals. Caden just loves the horses.
