Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, California

We got the great gift of spending a week on the beach of Santa Cruz. We were only a two min walk to the ocean, but there was so much to do we only got two days on the sand. Caden had so much fun we will have to go back. So thing we did were aquariums, redwoods, and a lot of eating. The boardwalk rides and a arts festival. Wow, all in a week. Look forward to a slide show to see more pics.

Gages bithday party

Well we went to a friends birthday party. Caden had so much fun going down the water slide. It took him a min or two to get over his fear, but then he didn't want to stop!

So I think that I created a hiking monster. He really likes to hike, and he can make it about a mile before he wants a ride. Today we hiked up to another waterfall. It was so pretty, and nice and cool. The only downfall was the biting insects. Ops we forgot the bug spray. Well all in all we had a great day!

Caden and mommy went on a three mile hike on Monday. Caden was able to walk at least half of it or more. He did ask for a little ride down. He really like finding all the caterpillars, and other bugs along the way. We also came across some small animal bones, he called them dinosaurs. When we got to the top he ate a little tuna lunch, we played in the water and then headed down. To end the day we went to the local pool to cool off. What a fun day!

Well Caden is decided that the floor is better than his bed. We put him to bed around 9:00, and when we went to go to bed we found asleep in the hall. It was so cute!

Sooooo Hot!

It is so hot around here that we have been playing at the pool when we can. We got to try out his new life jacket today. He really liked it, but had a little trouble keeping his feet under him. Wish he had some friends to take with us, he is not sure about how to make friends quite yet. That is ok, we have a lot of fun together.
