Christmas tree

Saturday we went to the Uinta's for our 2ND annually cutting of the Christmas tree. I always forget how far away it is, but so worth the drive. This year my mom and brother joined us in our fun, and I can't thank them enough for there help. Caden really just wanted to play on the sled, but still had fun cutting down the tree. I think that this years is better than the last, but will know for sure when it is up in the house. More pictures to come!

Cold outside!

What do you do when it is cold outside and you need something to keep you busy? Oh, well for us some blocks and a little bit of tape will do the job. Then when night time comes make sure you make a bed out of the blocks for the Transformers to sleep, and don't forget the blankets on top!

Tram at Snowbird

So I had to go to Snowbird to have a knee test done so that I could be a Host this year. It just so happened that it was customer appreciation weekend while we were there. Caden gave them food for the food drive and we got to ride the tram for free. While we were at Hidden Peak we played in the snow and lined up some rocks. When the bell rang to head down he was a little sad to leave his rocks, but loved the ride down. I think it is going to be a fun ski season.

Snow!!!!!!

Monday we went up to Snowbird to pick up our season ski passes.Can you believe that it was snowing? So while we were up there Caden and I decided to do a little dancing.

Fall fun

We have had so much fun with the changing of the season. Friday we go invited to go ride ATVs with the guys from work. Well we got there a little late and got to have some great mom and son time. Then we happened to find our friends and off we went for rides in there Rhino's. Caden got to ride with his friend Kayden and they just happened to wear the same fire jackets and similar helmets. The colors were so nice and the weather was great. I sure love every min that I get to spend with my little guy!

Cadens 4th Birthday!

Discovery Gateway

My great neighbors invited Caden and I to an afternoon at the Discovery Gateway. What a day! It was a bit less crowded than the first time we went. There is so much for the kids to do it keeps them busy for a while. Caden and Kameron played fireman, shopper, news anchor, and the the best was Life Flight paramedic. He went straight to the paramedic vest and put it on. He is so cute! The Helicopter was the best. When you ask Caden what his favorite part was he has a hard time coming up with an answer. Guess will have to go there again.

Bear Lake

We finally got to go sailing at Bear Lake, and loved it. The weather was a bit cool, but this time I packed a little better. We camped at Sunrise campground and took Cadens bike with us. He sure loves to peddle. During the day we sailed, shopped, and went swimming at the pool. The Lake was a little to cold for Caden so we found a swimming pool to play in. Jason came up and decided to be a lifeguard for old times sake, good thing he gave that job up!

I like to ride my bike!

Caden had great news! He can ride his bike with no training wheels. We went to a park and practiced on a grass hill about five times. Then we moved to a parking lot, he picked it up first try! So silly me I was so excited that I forgot to put his helmet on til he had figured out how to start and stop. Well he did have pads on! So anyway now he doesn't need me for that, he is really growing up fast!

The Heat!

I think that the heat is really getting to Caden, he has been so silly latley. The other night we were getting ready to go to a family dinner. Well he went into my bathroom and shut the door. Just as I was going to go look for him he came out and said, "Don't I look beautiful, just like you." Now how do you get mad at that?

Then today he found the build a bear outfits in his closet. I got them down for him and left the room. The next thing I knew he was standing at the office door with the witch costume on. I can't belive that it fit him. What a little funny guy!

Swimming!

Caden is a little fish! He is learning so fast, and having so much fun. Here is a cute clip of him.

4th of July!

What a day! We started my going out to Tooele and riding in my Grandpas 1931 car. Caden thought it was really cool until he saw that the kids on the side of the road were getting candy and he wasn't. So I jumped out and retrieved a couple of pieces to make him happy. After the parade he got to ride a pony. Then we headed home for a rest. That night we went to Riverton park for the fireworks. We just happened to find a small piece of grass to sit on and it was in the best spot ever. We were so close. Caden sure liked it until he halfway through when he decided it was time to go home. He laid in the wagon and we finished out the show. When we got to the car he was out like a light bulb. What fun!!!!!

Swim Lessons

Caden is such a fish. I would take him to the pool all of the time and he would never want to put his head in the water. I put him in swim lessons and he can't seem to keep his head above the water. The teachers tell me that he is really doing great and they want him to move to the next level. I am so happy that he enjoys the water, and that his good friend Jack is there to play with. It is also really nice that there are great teachers out there, because I know I couldn't teach him. Although watching the lessons makes me miss teaching. Well anyway here are a couple of cute pictures!

WOW!!!!!

Cadens friend is now riding his bike without training wheels. So Caden and I decided it was time to take his off and give it a go. Well we still have some practice time ahead of us, but he can do it. I really think that my little guy is growing up way to fast.

Shower!

Well I decided that Caden needed a shower. Look how cool it is!

The Rain!

Will the rain ever stop? Well last night the rain was the heaviest. What do you do what you can't send the boys outside to play? Oh ya, you build a fort. They had so much fun, and so did I cleaning it up.
