Cadens 4th Birthday!

Discovery Gateway

My great neighbors invited Caden and I to an afternoon at the Discovery Gateway. What a day! It was a bit less crowded than the first time we went. There is so much for the kids to do it keeps them busy for a while. Caden and Kameron played fireman, shopper, news anchor, and the the best was Life Flight paramedic. He went straight to the paramedic vest and put it on. He is so cute! The Helicopter was the best. When you ask Caden what his favorite part was he has a hard time coming up with an answer. Guess will have to go there again.

Bear Lake

We finally got to go sailing at Bear Lake, and loved it. The weather was a bit cool, but this time I packed a little better. We camped at Sunrise campground and took Cadens bike with us. He sure loves to peddle. During the day we sailed, shopped, and went swimming at the pool. The Lake was a little to cold for Caden so we found a swimming pool to play in. Jason came up and decided to be a lifeguard for old times sake, good thing he gave that job up!

I like to ride my bike!

Caden had great news! He can ride his bike with no training wheels. We went to a park and practiced on a grass hill about five times. Then we moved to a parking lot, he picked it up first try! So silly me I was so excited that I forgot to put his helmet on til he had figured out how to start and stop. Well he did have pads on! So anyway now he doesn't need me for that, he is really growing up fast!

The Heat!

I think that the heat is really getting to Caden, he has been so silly latley. The other night we were getting ready to go to a family dinner. Well he went into my bathroom and shut the door. Just as I was going to go look for him he came out and said, "Don't I look beautiful, just like you." Now how do you get mad at that?

Then today he found the build a bear outfits in his closet. I got them down for him and left the room. The next thing I knew he was standing at the office door with the witch costume on. I can't belive that it fit him. What a little funny guy!

Swimming!

Caden is a little fish! He is learning so fast, and having so much fun. Here is a cute clip of him.

4th of July!

What a day! We started my going out to Tooele and riding in my Grandpas 1931 car. Caden thought it was really cool until he saw that the kids on the side of the road were getting candy and he wasn't. So I jumped out and retrieved a couple of pieces to make him happy. After the parade he got to ride a pony. Then we headed home for a rest. That night we went to Riverton park for the fireworks. We just happened to find a small piece of grass to sit on and it was in the best spot ever. We were so close. Caden sure liked it until he halfway through when he decided it was time to go home. He laid in the wagon and we finished out the show. When we got to the car he was out like a light bulb. What fun!!!!!
